The History of Revolution Group
Revolution Group was founded as Revolution Software in 1995 when Rick Snide and Polly Clavijo drafted a business plan on a napkin. As friends and colleagues, they wanted to create a company that embodied the essential values that make businesses excellent: a positive attitude, honor, ethics, exceptional relationships, lifelong learning, and a commitment to productivity and happiness.
Among Revolution Group’s first assignments was as an IBM consulting partner, with the company’s founders working from home offices. But as technology advanced, their services and locations evolved. They expanded to Microsoft infrastructure and ERP solutions, moved from home offices to Westerville, and grew from two to nearly 100 employees.
Today, Revolution Group serves companies across the US in various industries through two divisions: Managed IT and Plex Services. Technology Services caters to small and medium businesses’ technology needs with managed IT services, project management, cloud hosting, and virtual CIO services. Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform Services deploys, implements, and integrates ERP systems for manufacturing plants worldwide.
