The History of Revolution Group
Revolution Group is a fun and hard-working group of positive people whose mission is to empower people and revolutionize business through the use of strategic technology solutions. We enjoy what we do and love sharing our passion for technology.
Revolution Group was founded as Revolution Software in 1995 when Rick Snide and Polly Clavijo drafted a business plan on a napkin. As friends and colleagues, they wanted to create a company that embodied the essential values that make businesses excellent: a positive attitude, honor, ethics, exceptional relationships, lifelong learning, and a commitment to productivity and happiness.
Rick and Polly set out to build a consulting company based on those values, committed to learning and understanding their clients’ businesses and building extraordinary long-term relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues. They were passionate about helping companies grow and achieve success with technology. And they still are.
Among Revolution Group’s first assignments was as an IBM consulting partner, with the company’s founders working from home offices. But as technology advanced, their services and locations evolved. They expanded to Microsoft infrastructure and ERP solutions, moved from home offices to Westerville, and grew from two to nearly 100 employees.
Revolution Group’s commitment to client and colleague success has led to the company being named in the Fortune 5000 and Columbus Business First Fast 50 for several years. We also established a workplace recognized as one of Columbus’ Best Places to Work for many years.
Today, Revolution Group is a managed IT and cybersecurity partner for businesses, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations across central Ohio — the team that keeps their technology running, their systems secure, and their teams focused on the work that matters.

The Revolution Team
Today, we are approaching 100 people on our team. We have ERP consultants helping manufacturers worldwide implement and optimize Plex Smart Manufacturing Platform software. We have profoundly knowledgeable IT consultants and engineers helping companies statewide manage their IT operations and integration from phone to laptop to cloud migration to strategy.
