Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work/school experience
- 4+ years in the manufacturing industry; industry certifications a plus
- Proven project management skills. Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma and/or PMP certifications a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with manufacturing or distribution integrated ERP systems such as Plex,SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, JD Edwards, etc.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of serving customers and helping other people
- Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, client oriented team
- Ability to effectively facilitate meetings
- Ability to travel approximately 50-75% of the time

- Must have 5-8 years of specific IT experience.
- This role should have developed or be working to develop deep technical expertise in three technical areas. It is common for this role to be very broad in several technical areas as well. Measuring depth and breadth of technical expertise is measured almost exclusively by certifications and years of experience managing and supporting specific technical platforms.
- A thorough knowledge about systems security devices is mandatory.
- This role should be able to serve in a junior architectural capacity for system design. They should be comfortable and experienced in complex concepts and be able to consult with more technically sophisticated clients.
- Ability to manage, coordinate and organize data, gather a comprehensive view and design new concepts.
- Demonstrate a high level of personal ownership in their day to day activities.
- Excellent ability to analyze, make decisions and solve problems.
- Ability to work in high pressure situations. Should be able to have multiple, competing deliverables while meeting reasonable deadlines
- Good leadership qualities to instruct and mentor junior engineers.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:

- Work with customers and internal project team members to gather, clarify and define application requirements.
- Diagnose difficult EDI issues with complex PLEX ERP software configurations
- Research the ERP database to understand problems; using SQL for queries
- Research the EDI raw file to understand problems; using XML and raw EDI UI tools
- Architect solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Manage and prioritize implementation activities across multiple projects.
- Coordinate data conversion activities with internal and customer resources.
- Coordinate implementation and testing of new customers and new document types with third party vendors
- Conduct online training sessions with customers and suppliers
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Excellent data analysis skills
- Experience in database optimization techniques
- 3+ years professional experience
- 3+ years of experience working as an EDI analyst working with X12, EDIFACT and XML documents
- 2+ years of experience working with ERP systems, Plex Manufacturing Cloud a strong plus
- Must be authorized to work in the Unites States without visa sponsorship.
- Experience in the automotive industry and food & beverage industry
- Experience working in supply chain, particularly in manufacturing
- Strong T-SQL development experience, a strong plus
- Database design/data modeling experience, a strong plus
- Advanced SQL skills and the ability to write and debug complex queries, stored procedures, functions, Relational Database Design, Development and Debugging, a strong plus
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
