Revolution Group is searching for a highly motivated, passionate Salesforce Developer (90 day contract to hire) who is based locally and wants to be part of a fun, dynamic, growing team. As a Salesforce Developer you will design and build scalable, high performance, and high quality applications in the flexible, adaptable Force.com environment. You will champion projects from their inception and collaborate with other developers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to create new applications, interfaces, and features. You will be involved in all aspects of development including design, database schema, business logic, and user interface. Your work has a significant, positive impact for our clients.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers locally and internal project team members to gather, clarify and define application requirements.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be based in central OH
  • 5+ years software development experience.
  • 3+ years of Salesforce/Force.com platform development experience.
  • Strong working experience with Lightning Component Development, Visualforce, Apex, Workflows, Integration using REST and SOAP.
  • Strong understanding of when to use Declarative development vs. Programmatic development.
  • Good knowledge of object oriented programming, database designing, and the SDLC.
  • Client-ready written and oral communications skills

Nice to have:

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II
  • In-depth Javascript knowledge and experience.

  • Responsible for responding to initial calls and Help Desk tickets from client base.
  • Should be a methodical with the ability to analyze, make decisions and solve problems
  • While considered an entry-level position the ideal person will have better than average communication skills.
    • Being able to verbally communicate and explain technical information to all types of end users is important.
  • Patience, resourcefulness and a desire to help others are wanted virtues in this role.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Technical Certifications preferred. A+, N+ and MCP a plus
  • Must demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning.
  • Must have experience with different types of hardware; PCs, laptops, and other end user compute devices.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Daily responsibility for troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues on end-user devices.
  • Daily responsibility working with Revolution Group on reviewing server logs
  • Responsible for troubleshooting client facing technical issues.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting technical issues with the POS platforms.
  • Will be expected to be put into an on-call rotation.
