Westerville, OH May 29, 2012 –This month Revolution Group, an IT Consulting firm located in Westerville,OH was a proud sponsor of Plex Systems, Inc. annual user conference PowerPlex, in Indianapolis. With over 700 attendees, the conference recorded the largest number of participants in its 11-year history.
The three-day event presents opportunities for Plex Systems community members and prospects to connect and collaborate, learn about best practices that maximize use of the comprehensive functionality of Plex Online and preview new features.

During the conference Plex CEO Mark Symonds announced a new enhancement of Plex Online, Community Driven Development, which leverages the expertise of partners like Revolution Group to deliver greater functionality to Plex users. Revolution Group, along with the Plex Development team, is leading the way to give Plex customers a powerful alternative to traditional Plex Development.
Revolution Group’s Pat Welsh’s presented “Community Enabled Development: Expanding the Ecosystem,” highlighting aspects of interactive, cutting edge solutions – including innovative iPad applications, ScraPad and Customer Snapshot — to enhance the core Plex applications.
In keeping with this year’s conference theme, “Know More, Do More, Win More,” Revolution Group’s Karen Patterson and Kevin O’Brien also presented to PowerPlex participants. Patterson’s “Learning to Fish: Tips and Tricks for the Plex Implementer.” educated attendees on how to take advantage of all the tools available to test, troubleshoot and roll out Plex processes within an organization. O’Brien co-presented “Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting” with Adaptive Planning.
The PowerPlex attendees also used the event as an opportunity to raise funds for Plex Systems’ 2012 charity partner, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan. A total of $22,012 was raised. The money raised, which exceeded the company’s goal, will allow the dreams of four seriously ill children to come true.
PowerPlex 2013, the 12th annual conference, will be held in Columbus, Ohio, on June 3-5, 2013.
